Tinco Ring

This special silver "Tinco ring" is inspired by a stunning gold Celtic coin found by my grandfather whilst out with his metal detector. I carefully took an impression of this coin, and then used the impression to create a wax original that was then cast in metal and moulded. Not only did the wax pick up the beautiful shapes of the original coin, but it also imparted my own fingerprints, adding an extra layer of texture and story.

Although the featuring coin is moulded, the shank is hand-formed each time, and as such each one has it's own unique twists and charm. The design was inspired by my love of Celtic knotwork and perfectly complements the coin.

The sizes I have in stock are ready to ship, but if you don't see your size let me know and I can have one made for you. If you're not sure on your ring size I would recommend downloading an app called "Ring Sizer" and selecting AU/GB.

This ring is solid sterling silver and weighs approximately 7.3 grams. As with all my jewellery, you may find fingerprints and toolmarks - This is a conscious decision and adds heaps of character to each piece!
